We’ve all heard the saying that Shakespeare should be seen and not read. The students of Atlanta Country Day School had a chance to see first hand what a difference a live performance can make. After spending a few weeks studying William Shakespeare’s Macbeth, ACDS student took a field trip to Atlanta’s premiere Shakespeare company to see what this famous play is all about.
Atlanta Shakespeare’s company put on a beautiful rendition of Macbeth inside their Elizabethan tavern. It was a packed audience which included ACDS students and other high schools from across Atlanta.
We can’t thank the Shakespeare Tavern enough for their hospitality and incredible performance. BRAVO!
